Day 1

After your luxury coach pick up at Dublin airport at 10:30am, greeted by Judith, we will drive north to experience the exciting city of Belfast, one of Europe’s hottest destinations.

Take in the sights along the way and in the city as we enjoy a driving tour of Belfast, discovering the many fascinating areas of interest such as the famous wall murals, the majestic City Hall, Stormont, Donegal Square, Queens University and the Titanic quarter – home to movie studios and the ‘Game of Thrones’ movie sets.

In the Titanic Quarter of the city, we will tour the impressive Titanic Center, voted Europe’s #1 attraction, before ending the day at the superb 5-star Culloden Hotel with dinner together. Welcome to Ireland!

Day 2

This morning we take a short drive to the beautiful Georgian village of Hillsborough to tour Hillsborough Castle, the Queens official palace in Northern Ireland, filled with treasured period furniture and works of art.

From the castle, stroll through the delightful village to perhaps enjoy lunch or a drink in one of the quaint pubs on offer.

After leaving Hillsborough, we will tour south to the ancient Down Cathedral and Saul, the site of Patrick’s first settlement from the 5th century, then onto the St. Patrick’s Center in Downpatrick, a superb interactive museum dedicated to Ireland’s famous patron saint, located at the ancient Down Cathedral and beside St. Patrick’s grave. Relive the life of the saint so famous across the world with our guide and founder of the center, historian Dr. Tim Campbell.

Leaving Down, we end the day at Balloo Coach House to enjoy dinner together, hosted by Chef Danny Miller.

Day 3

This morning we leave the beautiful Culloden Hotel bound for the famous Causeway Coast, voted one of the most spectacular coastal drives in the world.

Passing through Carrickfergus with its 12th Century castle, and several scenic villages along the way such as Cushendal and Balintoy, the drive itself is a joy as we make our way to the world heritage site of the Giants Causeway with its distinctive stones stretching out into the ocean.

Our guide for the day, Mark Rodgers, is a local expert who will help us explore the natural wonder of this beautiful coastal area, along with other gems such as Dunluce Castle perched on a cliff looming out to sea!

After enjoying the scenery of the Causeway coast, we will drive west toward County Fermanagh and the award winning Lough Erne Resort in time to enjoy dinner together at the Catalina Restaurant, hosted by Chef Noel McMeel – one of Ireland’s finest chefs who has cooked for presidents and prime ministers, including at the White House.

Day 4

After breakfast we leave the Lough Erne area and drive into County Donegal and the quaint Donegal Town where we will see the impressive ‘O’Donnells Castle’ and enjoy shopping and walks in the scenic town.

Enjoy a demonstration of Irish weaving at Triona Weavers, a guest favorite where we get to experience traditional Irish loom weaving!

From Donegal Town, we then drive south to tour the world famous Belleek Pottery factory in the village of Belleek . Watch the artisans at Belleek craft the most beautiful Irish pottery and have an opportunity to pick up some of the world famous pottery in their factory store. Then end the day back at the wonderfully relaxing Lough Erne Resort with plenty of time to relax before dinner again at the superb Catalina Restaurant with Chef Noel McMeel.

Day 5

This morning we leave Lough Erne bound for the iconic Kylemore Abbey in Connemara where we will tour the romantic house and walled gardens.

Kylemore, sitting on the shores of the lough, is a beautiful place to explore and relax, as well as being one of the most photographed sites in Ireland!

Enjoy tea or coffee in the beautiful surroundings or pickup some craft food items before we board our coach once more to continue our journey south towards Galway City and The Twelve Hotel, just outside Galway in the village of Barna. The Twelve Hotel has won many awards, including Ireland’s coveted ‘Hotel of the Year’ award for 2018. Take time to relax and freshen up at the hotel before dinner together in the amazing ‘West’ restaurant.

Day 6

This morning after breakfast at The Twelve Hotel, we drive west from Barna to board the ferry for Inishmore, one of the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland.

Steeped in Gaelic culture, the Aran islands are a joy to explore, including the most impressive Dún Aonghasa, an iron age fort perched high on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Cycle the low road, tour on the provided mini-bus, or just wander through Kilronan and shop for unique crafts and gifts on this special island.

We end the day back at The Twelve Hotel, to relax and enjoy dinner in their award-winning ‘West’ restaurant,

Day 7

Today, after breakfast at the Twelve Hotel, we board our coach once more to drive east to Dublin City, the capital of Ireland.

In Dublin we will enjoy a driving tour of our Irish capital, passing famous land marks including Trinity College home of the Book of Kells, Dublin Castle, O’Connell Street and much more. Admire the architecture and soak in the history of this interesting and ancient Irish capital as we spend some time there to get to experience all that is Dublin.       

Ending the day with a wonderful meal experience at the wonderful Fallon & Byrne Restaurant in the center of the city before retiring to our final hotel, the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Dublin Airport.

Day 8

The location of the Crowne Plaza at Dublin Airport makes our morning transfer to the terminal easy as prepare to say goodbye to Ireland, filled with memories to last a lifetime!
