Tour Itinerary | Day 1
After your luxury coach pick up at Dublin airport we drive south towards the medieval City of Kilkenny, once the capital of Ireland in days gone by, and a jewel of an city today with it’s narrow streets and colorful shopfronts. Once there, we will tour the superb Kilkenny Castle with it’s 800 years of history and intrigue before driving the short distance to the Mount Juliet Estate, our first luxury Irish resort set in the Irish countryside and a haven of peace and beauty. Enjoy the gardens and surroundings of this 18th century estate with time to relax before dinner in the Michelin star rated restaurant - welcome to Ireland!.
After our Irish breakfast, we depart for Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland dating back to Viking times, where we will tour the famed Waterford Crystal Factory and have a chance to shop for these wonderful Irish creations. Then onto New Ross, a short drive away, where we tour the impressive Dunbrody Famine Ship, a sailing ship from the 1840’s where we will experience the story of Irish immigration to America in fascinating detail before making our way back to the Mount Juliet Estate, stopping off on the way at the wonderful and creative Nicholas Mosse Pottery, before ending the day relaxing after dinner at Mount Juliet.
This morning we leave the Mount Juliet Estate, and drive west towards the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. The Rock of Cashel was the seat of Ireland’s high kings and today is a most impressive sight seated on a rocky hill commanding views across the landscape. From Cashel, we then continue towards Limerick, where we will enjoy lunch and a photo op at King John's Castle which dates back to the days of Robin Hood, before continuing our journey to Killarney and our next overnight stop and dinner at the Killarney Royal Hotel, an historic landmark in the scenic and famed Irish resort town of Killarney.
After enjoying breakfast in the splendid Killarney Royal Hotel, we board our coach to discover the natural beauty of the Dingle Peninsula, one of the most beautiful regions of the world with it's dramtic coastline, islands and mountains. We will drive to admire the scenery at Slea Head with it's plunging sea cliffs and gaze out to the Blasket Islands from Dunquin Harbor - bring your camera! In Dingle we will also visit the Gallarus Oratory, a beehive church dating back over 1200 years and take time to stroll Dingle Town with all of it's quaint pubs, shops and harbour. We then return to the hotel with plenty of time to enjoy Killarney and have dinner together after a dramatic day.
Today, we leave Cork and drive south toward the scenic town of Kinsale with it’s quaint harbor and brightly colored shopfronts. Enjoy some free time in the town to explore and enjoy lunch before we drive east to Midleton and the impressive Jameson Irish Whiskey Distillery. At Jameson we will tour the famed distillery and taste some of the world class Irish whiskeys before returning to Castlemartyr Estate to unwind and relax before our dining experience this evening at the famed Ballymaloe Cooking School. Ballymaloe is a world class foodie destination with it’s historic period house and working farm where we will enjoy a gourmet dining experience courtesy of the Allen family. - this will be a meal experience to remember!

The only outstanding cost will be a driver gratuity which we will gather at the end of our tour and will obviously be based on the quality of service you feel you have received from the driver. Judith will handle this discreetly and will present it to the driver on our last day together. Guidelines for good service are $5-$7 per person per day (or Euro equivalent).
