Day 1
To begin our tour, we depart the Dublin Crowne Plaza for the West of Ireland, with our first stop being the spectacular Clonmacnoise Monastic Site, founded in the 6th century by St. Ciaran.
Read MoreOur tour will be an insight into this hallowed and beautiful space on the banks of the River Shannon. From there we continue west to visit the famous Seans Bar in Athlone, officially recognized by Guinness World Records as Ireland’s oldest pub, and possibly the oldest pub in the world, founded in 900AD. More than 1,100 years later the pub still welcomes visitors to see the original wattle and daub walls. Afterwards we will drive to Westport, and the beautiful new 5-star Grace Hotel where we will enjoy our welcome group dinner at the Black Sheep Restaurant.
Day 2
After our hearty Irish breakfast, we depart The Grace Hotel for Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, the most photographed site in all of Ireland. The Benedictine monastery is set within 1,000 acres of mountainside in Connemara.

From Kylemore, we will then drive through one of the most historically profound drives in western Ireland, the Doolough Valley, with time to stop at the Famine Memorial. Later in the afternoon we will have some time to shop and explore Westport town or relax in the hotel’s pool & spa. Tonight’s dinner will be at Kelly’s Restaurant, with an opportunity later to enjoy music at Matt Molloy’s pub, famous for traditional music.
Day 3
Today, we depart The Grace Hotel to visit Ireland’s largest working sheep farm, Glen Keen Farms, with a welcome by owner Catherine from the farming family, set in stunning acres of mountainside in Connemara.
Read MoreThe visit will include meeting a local shepherd who will demonstrate sheep dog herding as well as a wonderful Irish tea with homemade scones. Our next stop will be at Drumcliffe visiting the grave of W. B. Yeats alongside the ancient site and High cross of St. Columba. Guests will have time to enjoy the coffee shop explore the Drumclffe church and learn about the battle of the books and legacy of St. Columba. Afterwards, we will make our way to the 5-star Lough Erne Resort, nestled in the Co. Fermanagh Lakelands. Our group dinner will be at the award-winning Catalina Restaurant.
Day 4
After another incredible Irish breakfast overlooking Lough Erne, we make our way to the village of Belleek and the home of Irelands oldest pottery, established in 1863, for a factory tour with time to explore the museum fabulous shop.
Read MoreFrom Belleek, we will drive west into County Donegal and the wonderful Donegal Town to learn the history of the O’Donnell Clan who ruled here for centuries. After the tour, we will enjoy a farm-to-table organic produce group luncheon at Simple Simons on the Diamond in the town – a wonderful organic experience. Finally, we will end our day at Magee’s Weavers and learn about the legacy of weaving in Donegal. Tonight we will have free time to relax at the Lough Erne, use the spa or hike around the Nick Faldo golf course and lake.
Day 5
After a relaxing breakfast we depart the Lough Erne for the Ulster American Folk Park, a unique experience that recreates immigration from the 19th century and brings guests on a journey from the old world in rural Ireland to the new world and the American frontier.
Read MoreFrom there, we continue east to Friels Bar and Restaurant, a 5th generation hospitality venue where we will enjoy and incredible luncheon. After Friels, we will then take part in Gorta Swatragh’s Famine Story with its visitor experience featuring the legacy of Dr. Mooney’s soup kitchen that provided aid to the local community during the Irish Famine. Tonight’s hotel will be the luxury Bedford Hotel, in the heart of Belfast’s City Center. Guests will have free time to enjoy the Cathedral Quarter night life and explore this fascinating city.
Day 6
After an elegant Irish breakfast, we depart The Bedford Hotel for the incredible Antrim Coast Road, known as one of the world’s best scenic drives. Our first stop will be the Bushmills Whiskey Tour experience at the oldest whiskey distillery in the world, established in 1608.
Read MoreWe will also stop for a photo visit at the enchanting Dunluce Castle, before having lunch in the quaint town of Bushmills. After lunch we will hike down to the Giants Causeway to see one of the seven natural wonders of the world with its’ unique hexagonal formation. After a day of breathtaking sites on the north coast, we will enjoy a group dinner at the Bedford Hotel, with local Celebrity Executive Chef Noel McMeel.
Day 7
After another full Irish breakfast in Belfast, we will leave The Bedford for Slane Castle in County Meath, home of our host the 9th Marques, Alex Conyngham. The Estate has a unique history, including hosting rock and roll concerts hosted by artists such as Rolling Stones to U2.
Read MoreOur group will enjoy a private dining luncheon on the castle estate and a guided tour experience of Slane Irish Whiskey Distillery, with its 18th century stable yards. The Irish whiskey tour and tasting, is a partnership between the Conyngham family and Brown-Forman (owners of Jack Daniel’s). From there, we continue south to Dublin and the Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel for our last evening, with time to organize for the flight home in the morning, with memories of last a lifetime.
Day 8
Goodbye to Ireland as you enjoy your final Irish breakfast and schedule your complimentary coach from the Crowne Plaza to Dublin international Airport. Shuttles depart every 30 minutes.
