Day 1
After your luxury coach pick up at Dublin airport, we drive south towards County Wexford and the old port city of New Ross where we tour the impressive Dunbrody Famine Ship.

New Ross was the embarkation point for many early Irish immigrants leaving for America, including the ancestors of John F. Kennedy, and Dunbrody is an immersive experience that wonderfully tells the story of Irish immigration to America. From Dunbrody, we will then make our way toward Kilkenny and the superb Lyrath Estate just on the ouskirts of town, set in 160 acres of beautiful landscape. Unwind in the beauty of the Irish countryside, relax at the spa and enjoy dinign in the Grill Restaurant. Welcome to Ireland!
Day 2
After our Irish breakfast at the Lyrath Estate, we depart for the ancient Viking City of Waterford and the famed Waterford Crystal Factory with all its skilled artisans and beautiful factory showroom, so fun.

From Waterford, we then drive back towards the medieval City of Kilkenny with its narrow streets and colorful shop fronts to tour Kilkenny Castle, built in 1185 and the historic seat of the Butler family. We will also enjoy lunch together in Kilkenny at the wonderful Butler House, in the Lady Eleanor Restaurant, before we end the day by driving the short distance back to the Lyrath Estate with plenty of time to relax in the peaceful Irish country estate, perhaps using the spa or taking stroll in the extensive grounds.
Day 3
This morning we leave the Lyrath Estate and drive west towards the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary, the seat of Ireland’s high kings & today an impressive sight as it rises above the Irish midlands on a high rock above the town.
Read MoreAfter touring the castle, we will then enjoy lunch at the Rock House which boast both stunning views and great food before we continue south and west towards beautiful County Kerry and our next overnight resort, the 5-star luxury Dunloe Hotel, nestled in the Kerry Mountains at the Gap of Dunloe. Relax in the wonderful parkland setting of this resort with its 64 acres of gardens, walks and historical sites or perhaps spend some time in the award-winning spa before we enjoy dinner together in the superb Grill restaurant.
Day 4
After enjoying breakfast at Dunloe, we board our coach this morning to discover the famed Dingle Peninsula, the most westerly and southern part of Ireland.

Day 5
This morning after relaxing breakfast, we will drive east from Kerry towards Cork City and Blarney Castle. Take time to kiss the Blarney Stone or just enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Or perhaps enjoy some shopping at Blarney Woolen Mills with its multiple floors filled with the most wonderful Irish products. – From Blarney, we then make our way into Cork City where we will stop at St. Fin Barres Cathedral.
Enjoy the superb architecture and history of the cathedral and walk the famed ‘labyrinth’ in the cathedral grounds before we continue to the wonderful Fota Island Resort, situated outside of Cork on its own private island with incredible sea views, walks, hikes, spa facilities and more. A truely restful, luxury experience.
Day 6
Today, we leave Cork City and drive south toward the scenic town of Kinsale with its quaint harbor and brightly colored shop fronts. Enjoy some free time enjoying the sights and sounds of this picture postcard Irish harbor town.

We will also enjoy lunch here together at the renowned restaurant Fishy Fishy, right at Kinsale Harbor, a treat to remember!
From Kinsale, we will then drive east to Middleton and the impressive Jameson’s Irish Whiskey Distillery. At Jameson’s, we will tour the famed distillery and taste some of the world class Irish whiskeys distilled here and enjoyed throughout the world. After enjoying a dram at Middleton, we will then drive back to Cork to relax in the wonderful Fota Island Hotel, what a day!
Day 7
Today we rise early to board our coach once more to drive north toward Dublin City, the capital of Ireland. On the way to Dublin we will stop halfway to visit the famed Irish pottery of Nicholas Mosse, whose distinctive pottery is celebrated throughout the world.

Enjoy coffee or a snack in the café at Nicholas Mosse before we continue our journey to Dublin City.
In Dublin we will enjoy a driving tour of our Irish capital, passing famous landmarks around O’Connell Street and much more. Admire the architecture and soak in the history of this interesting and ancient Irish capital as we spend some time there to get to experience all that is Dublin. Ending the day with a wonderful meal experience at the superb Fallon & Byrne Restaurant in the center of the city – a famed Dublin foodie experience! After which, we will retire our final hotel, the Crowne Plaza at Dublin Airport.
Day 8
The location of the Dublin Crowne Plaza makes our airport connections today stress free, with free shuttles that leave every 30 minutes, as we say goodbye to Ireland and return to the United States with a host of memories of the Emerald Isle! – Until next time!
