Day 1

After your luxury coach pick up at Dublin, we drive south towards County Wexford and the old port city of New Ross where we tour the impressive Dunbrody Famine Ship…

New Ross was the embarkation point for many early Irish immigrants leaving for America, including the ancestors of John F. Kennedy, and Dunbrody is an immersive experience that wonderfully tells the story of Irish immigration to America. From Dunbrody, we will then make our way toward Kilkenny and the superb Lyrath Estate just on the outskirts of town, set in 160 acres of beautiful landscape. Unwind in the beauty of the Irish countryside, relax at the spa and enjoy dining in the Grill Restaurant. Welcome to Ireland!

Day 2

After our Irish breakfast at Lyrath, we depart for the ancient Viking City of Waterford where we will tour the famed Waterford Crystal Factory with all of its skilled artisans and have a chance to shop for these wonderful Irish creations in their beautiful factory showroom…

After enjoying Waterford, we will then drive back towards the medieval City of Kilkenny. In times gone by Kilkenny was the capital of old Ireland and today is a jewel of a city with its narrow streets and colorful shop fronts and once there we will lunch at the superb and historic Butler House.
In Kilkenny, we will also tour the superb Kilkenny Castle, built in 1185 and the historic seat of the Butler family. The castle is a pristine example of Medieval history which we will explore and enjoy before we have a luncheon together at the wonderful and historic Butler House in the center of old Kilkenny. We then end the day by driving the short distance back to the Lyrath Estate with plenty of time to relax in the peaceful Irish country setting and enjoy some free time.

Day 3

This morning we leave Lyrath Estate and drive west towards the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. The Rock of Cashel was the seat of Ireland’s high kings & today is an impressive sight, a ‘must do’ when in Ireland as it rises above the Irish midlands on a high rock above the town of Cashel…

After touring the castle, we will then enjoy lunch at the Rock House, just across from the castle, with stunning views and great food!
From Cashel, we then continue south and west towards County Kerry, stopping on the way in the adorable village of Adare for coffee or tea in one of the cute shops on the main street of the village before continuing our journey south towards Killarney and our next overnight stop & dinner at the Dunloe Hotel, at the ‘Gap of Dunloe’.

Day 4

After enjoying breakfast at the Dunloe Hotel, we board our coach this morning to discover the famed Dingle Peninsula, the most westerly and southern part of Ireland…

Perhaps one of the most beautiful and rugged peninsulas in the world, Dingle is a breath-taking drive through mountains and headlands that plunge into the wild Atlantic, the scenery of which was the backdrop to the latest Star Wars movie, all filmed in Dingle close to the village of Ballyferriter. On our journey through Dingle we will stop at the many historical and beautiful sights that mark the route such Dunquin Harbor, looking out the Blasket Islands. In Dingle town we will enjoy a luncheon together at the wonderful ‘Boatyard Restaurant’.
End the day back at Dunloe in time to enjoy some free time after a day of spectacular scenery, perhaps take a short ride into Killarney to enjoy the many pubs and nightlife in this vibrant Irish town.

Day 5

This morning after relaxing breakfast, we will drive east from Kerry towards Cork and the harbor town of Cobh where we will enjoy lunch in this beautiful and historic Irish port…

Ranked as one of the most beautiful harbor towns in Europe, Cobh, formerly known as ‘Queenstown’ was the last stop of the Titanic and boosts lots of history in its charming and colorful streets. Visit St. Colmans Cathedral and the White Star line offices before we head to Foto Island and resort, our next superb hotel, where we will enjoy and exclusive tour of the house and gardens.
From Cobh we make our way to the incredible Fota House, Arboretum and Gardens in County Cork, our next resort destination. Fota House is a Regency period great house with spectacular gardens, housing an impressive art collection. Relax in the grounds and enjoy free time before enjoy dinner together in the restaurant at Fota House.

Day 6

Today, we leave Cork City and drive east to Middleton and the impressive Jameson’s Irish Whiskey Distillery. At Jameson’s, we will tour the famed distillery and taste some of the world class Irish whiskeys distilled here and enjoyed throughout the world…

After enjoying a dram at Middleton, we will then drive a short distance to the wonderful Ballymaloe House for a gourmet lunch in one of Ireland’s best foodie destinations – an absolute treat!
From Ballymaloe, we drive to the scenic town of Kinsale with its quaint harbor and brightly colored shop fronts. Enjoy some free time enjoying the sights and sounds of this picture postcard Irish harbor town before we head back to Cork to relax in the wonderful Fota Island Hotel, what a day!

Day 7

Today we rise early to board our coach once more to drive north toward Dublin City, the capital of Ireland. In Dublin we will enjoy a driving tour of our Irish capital, passing famous landmarks around O’Connell Street and much more…

Admire the architecture and soak in the history of this interesting and ancient Irish capital as we spend some time there to get to experience all that is Dublin. Ending the day with a wonderful Irish Afternoon Literary Tea Experience at the 5 Star Westbury Hotel in the center of the city – a famed Dublin cultural and foodie experience! After which, we will retire our final hotel, the Crowne Plaza at Dublin Airport.

Day 8

The location of the Crowne Plaza at Dublin Airport makes our morning transfer to the terminal easy as prepare to say goodbye to Ireland, filled with memories to last a lifetime!
