After not seeing my family in Ireland for 2 long years, I am finally getting ready to fly home this month. For those of us who love to travel the pandemic has been so hard with many cancelled trips. So, this season with all it’s highs and lows only makes me more grateful for those wonderful travel memories. The pandemic for me has brought an awareness of the importance of being present, and appreciating each moment.
And so, we have all been patiently waiting for the pandemic to break and for the government’s restriction’s to be lifted. All my cancelled tours are going to be relaunched in May 2022, and I will be joining my partners in the Irish tourism industry to give a warm welcome back. The US has always had a special relationship with Ireland, and this closeness is demonstrated by the presence of US immigrations at Dublin airport. It’s always such a gift when you are flying home to the US to have already gone through immigration in Dublin. A true relief to have this tiresome part of traveling out of the way!
So, as I get ready to head home I wanted to thank each one of your for your loyalty and hanging in there with me during this challenging season in our world. Please continue to dream with me for next year and start to make plans for future travel to Ireland and Scotland. There are few things in life that bring us as much joy than a carefully planned out travel adventure. There is a homecoming awaiting each one of you!
I promise to share lots of photos on my social media pages, and as ever Joy in the Journey!
