    Pick up at Dublin Crown Plaza, bound for the famous Antrim Coast road.  The first stop is Carrickfergus Castle, built in the 12th century, the gateway to the coast through the nine Glens of Antrim…

    with jaw-dropping coastal scenery at every turn en route to Bushmills village where we will enjoy lunch at the historic Bushmills inn. After lunch, we will be greeted by our specialist guide Mark Rodgers who will guide us around Dunluce Castle, set on a rock gazing out to Scotland, and will share many stories stories about kilts, battles, and a kitchen that fell into the sea!  End the day at Galgorm Resort and Spa to unwind with a river view room set within 163 acres of parkland…

    Our North Antrim specialist and guide, Mark Rodgers, will join us again today as we visit the incredible Giants Causeway on the Antrim coast, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

    Leaving the causeway, we will continue along the epic coastal drive to the world-famous walled City of Derry. Derry is the only fully walled city in Ireland, and is an historic treasure trove. After lunch, we will have a walking tour of the walls, learning about the plantation of Ulster, rebellions, and the siege of Derry. End the day back at Galgorm Manor where we will enjoy a group dinner in the elegant River Room and Conservatory Restaurant.

    After our full Irish breakfast today we drive to Belfast for our late morning sailing across the Irish Sea to Scotland with Stena Line.

    The sailing is just 2 hours and 15 minutes, and the Stena ship has many facilities offering refreshments and relaxation. After arriving in the port of Cairnyran we will make our way to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. The city itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a joy and wonder to behold with interesting history and architecture at every turn. Our hotel, the Raddison Blu, is situated on the Royal Mile in the very heart of the city. Enjoy a welcome driving tour of the city and some time to explore before our group dinner tonight.  Welcome to Scotland!

After touring and coffee, we will drive back to Edinburgh to have our group luncheon at the award-winning Cortina Restaurant the Scottish Café, at the National Gallery in the heart of the city. We will end our day touring Holyrood Palace, the King’s royal palace in Scotland. Tonight, we have some free time to again explore Edinburgh with its famous pubs and musical nightlife.

    After touring and enjoying lunch at Stirling, we will continue our drive through the meandering villages and scenery as we drive up into the Highlands. We will arrive in time to freshen up for dinner at the incredible Kingshouse Hotel, set in Glencoe valley. Our hotel is a newly refurbished Alpine retreat with stunning mountain views. Dinner tonight will be a feast for the eyes and tastebuds with epic views.

    This morning, after breakfast with stunning Highland views, we leave Kinghouse for an incredible tour of the Highlands en route to Eilean Donan Castle…

    We will tour Titanic Belfast and enjoy some luncheon in the Titanic Quarter before we board our coach to drive south to Carlingford, Co. Louth, a unique medieval town full of characters. Our last group dinner will be in Fitzpatrick’s’ Restaurant in Carlingford before completing our journey back to Dublin and the Dublin Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel. Book your complimentary shuttle to the airport on arrival for the following morning to fly home. What an adventure!
