    Day 1

    To begin our tour, we depart Dublin and drive north towards Belfast City were we will enjoy a welcome lunch at Chef Danny Miller’s award-winning ‘Stock Kitchen’ restaurant, located in the classical Victorian buildings overlooking St. George’s Market.

    After lunch, and a short time browsing the markets, we will then tour the impressive Titanic Center, which sits on the original site where the RMS Titanic was built, and is a world-leading attraction. From there, we will then take in a driving tour of Belfast with photo stops including the City Hall, Royal Avenue, Queen’s University, the C.S Lewis Center, and Stormont.  Our hotel tonight will be the luxurious 5-star Culloden Estate and spa, originally a Bishop’s palace, where we can relax in the spa, enjoy a swim or simply take a stroll to enjoy the stunning sea views.

    Today, we drive north to the Antrim Coast, considered to be one of the most beautiful coastal drives in the world.

    Stopping at the many wonderful places along the way, including Carrickfergus Castle, Ballycastle and Bushmills where we will enjoy luncheon at the historic Bushmills inn before visiting the famous Old Bushmills’ distillery to shop and maybe enjoy a wee dram before visiting the UNESCO world heritage site at the Giants Causeway, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The Causeway is formed by hexagonal-shaped columns that dramatically cluster on the wild Irish Sea and has to be seen to be believed!  From there we will have a photo stop at the dramatic and beautiful Dunluce Castle, with time to take in the dramatic coastline before traveling back to the Culloden Estate and Spa.

    Day 3

    Today, we depart Belfast for Hillsborough Castle and Gardens, the Royal Palace of King Charles, built in 1770 and the place where the 1998 peace accord was signed.

    After touring the castle, we can walk through the beautiful walled gardens and the surrounding glorious woodland and waterways before enjoying the charming village of Royal Hillsborough with its unique shops and cobbled streets, where we will have luncheon.  – For the golfers, the next stop from here will be Ardglass Golf Course whilst the remaining guests will have afternoon tea with Judith’s family at their home close to the village. To the end the day, we will then travel onto Enniskillen and the 5-star Lough Erne Resort where we will enjoy a fine dining experience at the wonderful Catalina Restaurant at the Lough Erne

    Day 4

    For anyone choosing to stay at the Lough Erne Resort, there will be an optional time for guests to enjoy a 9 Hole golf experience on the championship course, or spend a day at the Thai Spa.

    Alternatively, we will begin by visiting Ireland’s oldest Pottery dating back to 1857, the Belleek Pottery Factory, situated in the charming village of Belleek. After the tour and some time to shop at Beleek, we will then continue west to the charming town of Donegal, to tour Donegal Castle, built by Red High O’Donnell in 1474 and learn about the history of The O’Donnell family.  After touring the castle there will be plenty of time to explore the pubs and shops in Donegal. Dinner tonight will be in the wonderful Catalina Restaurant with Chef Stephen.

    This morning we depart Enniskillen for Galway in the west of Ireland, stopping off at the graveside of W. B Yeats, Ireland’s most famous poet, on the way.

    Our journey south and west will take us through the stunning Connemara Mountains to the iconic Kylemore Abbey and Gardens , where will stop for a visit,  – the photographed site in Ireland!  The Abbey is home to the Benedictine nuns and is renowned for its stunning Victorian Gardens and walking trails.  From Kylemore we will continue to our destination of Galway, and Galway city’s only 5-star hotel, The G Hotel where we have time to change and freshen up before our evening dining experience.

    Day 6

    After enjoying our Irish breakfast in Galway, we will depart for the stunning coastal drive through The Burren.  The Burren (also known as Rocky land in Gaelic’) features a unique rock landscape…

    that resembles the surface of the moon with the contrasts of both alpine and rare arctic wildflowers that thrive in the cracks and crevices.  We will visit the Cliffs of Moher, a natural masterpiece with stunning breathtaking views and enjoy a luncheon on the newly opened Blackrock Cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way, ending our day with a walking tour of Galway city.  -Tonight, we will experience the music and culture of Galway and stroll into the city center to listen to some live music in the local bars.  A true celebration and ending to a week of Irish culture.

    Today, we depart Galway for Dublin City, Ireland’s thriving capital, arriving just before lunchtime.  Our schedule will allow free time for guests to shop…

    along the famous Grafton Street with it’s street performers and department stores, or visit the National Gallery before meeting up as a group to visit Trinity College Dublin and the Book of Kells.  Tonight, we will dine in the elegant fine dining restaurant, The Saddle Room in the Shelbourne Hotel.  A dinner to reflect on a wonderful week of culture, links, adventure, food, and friendship, after which we will end the evening at the Crown Plaza airport hotel

    Day 8

    The location of the Dublin Crowne Plaza makes our airport connections today stress free, with free shuttles that leave every 30 minutes, as we say goodbye to Ireland and return to the United States with a host of memories of the Emerald Isle! – Until next time!
